Querencia is a word that speaks to a place of grounding, and restoration – a space where strength can be regained and peace restored.
Querencia Ascension was built for women carrying more than most people ever see. Behind the titles, the caregiving, the business-building, and the decision-making, many women are the default pillars of our families and communities, yet we have little energy to pause, catch our breath, organize or be supported.
This work was born from a simple truth: You cannot have true peace of mind if your house is out of alignment.

Querencia Ascension is rooted in the sisterhood of Sistas Ascending, a women's community founded in 2007 to foster connection, encouragement, and restoration.
That spirit remains.
Today, the work has evolved into helping women build practical preparedness, accountability, and lasting peace of mind while carrying the responsibilities of everyday life.

Querencia Ascension was founded by a Licensed Funeral Director whose experience supporting families through life's most vulnerable transitions revealed the emotional and practical burdens families face when important conversations and planning are postponed.
Today, Querencia Ascension creates structured spaces where women can slow down, organize, reconnect with themselves, and move toward greater clarity and confidence. Because for many women, it is the foundation needed to ascend.
